Henry Talbot

The Henry Talbot bedroom is situated in a peaceful area of the hotel, offering a wonderful sense of privacy. The woodland views also contribute to this ambience, whilst original features such as the fireplace and tall windows give the bedroom a quiet charm. The super king bed is particularly comfortable whilst the separate dressing and seating area provide ample space to relax and enjoy your time at Bailbrook House.

Other notable features include a roll-top bath, rain shower and TV set into the tiles in the bathroom.

William Henry Fox Talbot was a British inventor and photography pioneer who invented the calotype process, a precursor to photographic innovations of the 19th and 20th centuries. Lacock Abbey and the Fox Talbot Museum in rural Wiltshire is a National Trust property that was once his home.
