Two Hand Picked Hotels shortlisted for National Fitness Awards 2016

Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa in Nantwich, Cheshire is amongst the final 6 hotels being considered for the Best Hotel Facility award whilst Brandshatch Place Hotel & Spa in Fawkham, Kent has been shortlisted for the Health Club of the Year award.

The Best Hotel Facility award features hotels providing premium fitness facilities for guests and members. The category is diverse and clubs can be rewarded for a variety of accomplishments and offerings including outstanding service or exceptional facilities such as a state-of-the-art gym or a full size swimming pool. 
Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa has a contemporary health club comprising of the latest exercise equipment from Technogym® as well as a full range of indoor and outdoor classes. It features a sprung floor aerobic studio that includes functional training equipment and the main gym is equipped with cutting-edge cardiovascular and resistance equipment. Guests and members can also use the stunning glass-roofed 17 metre swimming pool, a large hydrotherapy pool and a crystal steam room. The award-winning spa features 7 treatment rooms offering Elemis treatments, Amber lounge and relaxation room. Monthly and annual membership options are available as well as access for guests staying in the hotel.
 
The Health Club of the Year award celebrates health clubs offering a wide range of facilities in addition to a well-equipped gym. It judges clubs based on the extra facilities that are provided for members, for instance the provision of sporting activities and customer service.

Brandshatch Place Hotel & Spa features an exclusive health club, designed to meet the needs of guests of all health and fitness levels. With a fully equipped gym, the health club also offers an exercise studio, Myride® virtual studio and functional training zone, where the team of fitness experts delivers a selection of classes in addition to personal training sessions. 

Members and guests can enjoy the new Myride®+ bikes in group classes and during solo work-outs, using both virtual and live coaching features. The gym offers cardiovascular equipment with UNITY from Technogym and is available featuring an open android-based user platform with swipe-screen technology, virtual training and access to personalised and enhanced entertainment experiences to improve members’ work outs. 

Complete with a spacious 13 metre swimming pool and tennis court, the health club caters well to both water and land-based exercise and provides facilities for indoor and outdoor activities. A relaxing steam room and sauna plus registered crèche are also available to guests.
