At Rookery Hall we invite you to make yourself at home, and there is no better way to do this than by heading to the Drawing Room to put up your feet with a good book, freshly brewed coffee or light lunch.
By day, the room affords peaceful views across the grounds and by night it is a cosy place to unwind, not least because of the open fires. It is the perfect place for sampling our afternoon tea, featuring homemade scones, fruit cake and, for some extra sparkle, a glass of Champagne.
Alternatively, enjoy a drink in the newly refurbished bar, which boasts a well-stocked selection of spirits as well as a huge array of boutique local gins - let our bartender recommend a dry, fragrant or botanical concoction to suit your tastes. On bright summer days, the bar’s terrace area is an idyllic spot for a refreshing cocktail or al fresco lunch, with the fountain bubbling away on the manicured lawn.
Both The Drawing Room and the bar offer an inviting place to enjoy a board game or catch up with friends and colleagues after a long day, and the bar is open to residents until late so you can enjoy a late night digestif before retiring to the comfort of your bedroom.
